IEEE Lebanon Communications Student Competition is a competition among senior projects (graduation projects, capstone projects, or final year projects) from different universities in Lebanon on topics that have a communications component including wired and wireless communications, mobile apps, mobile networks, peer to peer and social networks, communications and network security, and related areas.
The First LCSC, IEEE LCSC’11 took place in June 2011 at NDU; it attracted around 100 attendees; it included a plenary talk on entrepreneurship and presentations/demos by 20 competing student projects. The second LCSC, IEEE LCSC’12 took place at AUB in June 2012 and attracted around 150 attendees and more than 30 competing student projects. Last year IEEE LCSC’13 took place at LAU, Byblos Campus in June 2013 and also I was very successful. We received around 150 attendees and more than 30 competing student projects. In all these three years, the winning teams received certificates and valuable prizes.
